Ilkhom Tumashev, Product Manager at UzCloud Hub
Work chat saved us from email clutter, but who will save us from the chat itself? Endless notifications and noise in 50-person groups is a direct path to digital burnout. We at UzCloud Hub believe: a messenger should be quiet.
We've prepared a breakdown of the main features that turn chaos into order.
Threads: Discuss without distracting others
Threads (or branches) are the basis of modern work communication. These are mini-chats inside the main window that allow you to take deep discussions 'aside'.
- Why it's cool: You don't send notifications to the entire team if your question only concerns two people.
- How it works: Click '+' next to a message and start discussing the details. The context isn't lost, and the main chat stays clean. You decide which threads to subscribe to and which ones to just view later.

Dashboard: Your filter for the morning
Entering a messenger after a weekend or vacation is stressful. So that you don't drown in hundreds of messages, we created the Main Dashboard.
- What's the benefit: This is your control panel. Instead of scrolling through 20 chats, you see everything important on one screen: your mentions, scheduled meetings, and reminders you set for yourself.
- Quick actions: Right from here, you can create a new meeting or call a colleague with one click. Perfect for starting the day with a clean slate.

'Important' chats: Silence under control
The 'Do Not Disturb' mode is a useful thing, but there is always the fear of missing something critical. In UzCloud Hub, we solved this dilemma using the 'Important' status.
- How it works: You turn on silence mode for everyone, but mark a chat with the boss or a project channel as 'Important'.
- Result: The messenger will ignore the 'Do Not Disturb' status only for this conversation. You rest knowing that if things 'catch fire', you'll know about it, and you won't be distracted by anything else.

Interface hygiene: Compact view and auto-statuses
Extra visual noise is no less tiring than sound. Therefore, we added tools for the 'cleanliness' of the interface.
- Compact mode: You can hide message previews and extra icons. Only chat names remain in the list — maximally focused and nothing superfluous.
- Availability automation: UzCloud Hub knows how to make friends with your calendar. If you have a call, the 'Busy' status will appear automatically. And if you are on vacation, colleagues will see a banner with your message and the contacts of whoever is covering for you.

Mobile App
Everything we wrote about above — threads, dashboard, and notification settings — works fully on a smartphone as well.
You don't need to turn off your phone or delete the app for the weekend to avoid seeing the work hustle. It's enough to configure UzCloud Hub for yourself once, and the messenger will respect your boundaries, wherever you are.
